As a moderator, Kyle has made it clear that I should still be involved in admin discussions and voting procedures. After discussing this with Altis, I thought it best I should ask the rest of the admin group how they felt about this.
Is this, after all, fair? I am moderator of but one forum on this board, and so only take responsibility for that. Admins, by their nature and privilege, must undertake a greater and wider level of responsibility, bearing the brunt of the decisions made as a result of these votes and submissions. This is not to say as a moderator, I should not be prepared to do so, but necessarily, I do so to a lesser degree than the admins. Is it fair that I should have an equal voice? Be allowed to vote on board decisions? Be included in that stage of decision-making at all?
Perhaps my role at the moment is something of a 'Consultant' or 'Associate Admin'. Fair enough, if that's what's wanted- but how many consultants or associate directors in other situations are actually given a vote in that organisation?
So is it fair? Do you, as admins, feel it is unfair that someone with less responsibility is being given equal voice?
