I could wish the families and friends of those on board had had almost any other news than this. Theirs will be the hardest time in the days ahead.
I hope and pray that this does turn out to be an accident, or (if evidence decides otherwise) that it continues to be held as an "official" accident. The angle of the re-entry window is certainly narrow enough to allow for this: and a slip on navigation here is entirely likely to have been a contributing factor, if not sole cause.
But I fear what the reaction would bring should a significant proportion of the population (and/or the available or released evidence) decide otherwise.
